Felix Kirchmeier
Biography
Felix Kirchmeier is the Director of the Geneva Human Rights Hub.
With over 20 years of experience in human rights and project development, he leads this new hub anchored in international Geneva, connecting governmental actors, United Nations human rights experts, civil society representatives and academia, identifying institutional issues needing coordination and a multi-stakeholder approach.
Since 2025, Felix is a member of the Steering Committee of ITU's AI Skills Coalition, aiming to expand the work of the UN human rights mechanisms in the digital sphere and to deliver training on AI for human rights professionals.
Before joining the Hub, Felix was founding Executive Director of the Geneva Human Rights Platform and Manager of Policy Studies at the Geneva Academy, and worked at the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung where he served as Senior Programme Officer for Human Rights and Development and Focal Point for international human rights projects.
Felix holds a master’s degree in Political Science from the University of Freiburg, Germany.
