Training Center

The Geneva Human Rights Hub Training Center develops and delivers practice-oriented training on Geneva-based human rights mechanisms. It addresses practitioners from civil society, international and national public institutions, and the private sector, while remaining open to students and early-career professionals seeking practical training.

The Training Center offers courses, workshops, and other learning formats focused on understanding how human rights mechanisms operate in practice and how they can be engaged with effectively. Training activities cover both core and emerging human rights issues, including human rights and the environment, business and human rights, and other cross-cutting themes.

Training at the GHRH is delivered by experienced professionals and subject-matter experts with direct, Geneva-based involvement in UN human rights mechanisms and related processes. Lead trainers and speakers draw on their day-to-day professional experience, and where relevant, training activities may include observation of UN human rights sessions and meetings held in Geneva. This close connection to ongoing institutional processes allows participants to link training content with real-world practice.

An overview of current and upcoming training activities is available under the Training Courses page.
